Is this throwout bearing OK?

Hello,

I just happened to notice that the inside of my TO bearing is......not smooth. It looks a little chewed up or scraped up on the inside. Sorry for the lousy picture.

Hard to tell from the pic, but as you say its rough and chewed up it needs replacing. Also take a look athe guide tube thats attached to the trans, it's probably used up too.

Just pulled mine out earlier this week for a clutch job.

You need to look at the guide tube as well. Also check your release fork bearings.
