Put the 911 in storage today
I rented a non climate controlled 10x15 storage unit at a local storage facility. The car barely fit, to the point where the roll-down garage door rubbed against the bumperettes when we closed the door. I got a good deal, 1/2 off the first 3months, so I am essentially paying $100/month through February.
I am glad to have it covered and protected for the winter, and that both my daily cars are at my house now in the garage. Before I stored it, I did an oil change, filled her with 93, added 8oz's of Stabil and took it for a 25 minute cruise. Ready for hibernation! ![]()

That's too bad. You just took delivery of that beauty not too long ago right. I really dig your car. Well, the first spring drive will be a sweet one.

Did you add dessicant (moisture remover)? Might be a good idea.
Put it in a aluminum pan (turkey roasting pan = ideal). Doug

Thanks. Yes, since I've had it, it sat 4 weeks in my garage, and 2 weeks at the body shop getting a small dent repaired (to which I had them repaint the whole rear of the car, from the doors back.). It came out great, blending is amazing. The storage unit is less than a mile away from my house, so I can take it out anytime I want for a quick ride, so not too worried about moisture, etc.
