I'd suggest Rylands (Ryland Mills) in Marietta; he did an excellent job for me on a PPI for my first 911 purchase 2 years ago. He came highly recommended by my local mechanic and by other Porsche owners I consulted in the Atlanta area.

Good luck on your purchase.

Regards,
David

i used franz blam racing in that area. reasonable price and were willing to answer my q's. they don't use a big pre=printed form though.

Talking

I had Franz Blam (in the suburbs of Tucker, GA) recently rebuild my engine. He's been working on Porsches for over 35 years, and it doesn't get any better. He is honest, hardworking and really knows his stuff.

Here is something I cut and pasted from his website. No affiliation with him, just now a very satisfied lifelong customer.

Best of luck with your new toy!

Thanks everyone. I think I'll try Rylands, since I live in Marietta, and they were recommended to me over on Rennlist as well. If I ever need an engine rebuild, it's good to know there is someone that can do a good job in Atlanta, though. Thanks for the information.

Rylands as well as others mentioned have been around for awhile, but make SURE Ryland does the PPI!! Their are many great shops in the Atlanta area, but for my money Ryland would be my first choice. My reasoning? I have owned 4 Porsches over 30+ years and have tried them all. I trust Ryland the most.
