Sad news for sure...
I would have liked to have met him, and was planning on it!! I'm sure others that did not know him felt the same way. RIP I'm good with how ever the family needs to use the funds ( or at least my G ) I'm sure they had many bills related to this. Jim |

Wow. It semed like we had a lot of momentum here and I hoped the thoughts of others would give Warren strength. My deepest condolences go out to his friends and family. A special thanks to Mark Wilson for making us a small part of Warren's life.
John

Wow, sudden. RIP Warren, and Godspeed.
In spite of the sadness of this day, we should remember that he defied some pretty serious odds to live as long as he did with his disease. How special it is that he shared so many of those precious few moments in his life with us.

Soo sad. If a man is measured by the people he touched and helped, Warren was great man.

Warren was one of the first to help me out here, back when I was just starting to learn this Porsche game. While I never met him, I felt like I knew him. Hell, I feel like I know a lot of you guys that I actually have never met. We have something very, very special going here, and Warren was one of the cornerstones of that. Amazing what a guy like him could do to help us out with this crazy tool called the "internet". He will leave a huge vacuum in our little community. Dang it; why does this have to happen to good people...
So next time I hear one of those crackling, ripping peals of thunder racing accross the clouds, I think I'll smile and remember Warren, imagining it's him ripping along at full song in an early S with open megaphones, having the time of his life. Godspeed, Warren.

Heartbreaking
Please use the funds I sent as you would like Mark and Kurt. A valiant effort by you both and all of us here on this BBS. Such a sad day. Warren will be truly missed by all.

Wow, what terrible news.
We and everyone else lost a big one. All good things must come to an end I suppose, but too bad it had to be so soon... ![]() Best Warren! ianc

Warren Hall has left us. I expect he is building rockets and fixing Porsches on the next level. Wherever that might be, he can finally breathe.
The void left in the Porsche community and indeed the world cannot be described in words. A kinder, more generous, more knowledgeable and understanding teacher there never was. I was fortunate to know him on line for several years, but only face to face for the last few weeks. He was exactly what I expected - humble and brilliant. The last time I saw him, I told him that he needed to be strong and give us enough time to make this happen. He smiled and said he was going to do his part, then said in his Texas twang "I can't tell you how much I appreciate what you all have done. George Warren Hall left us knowing that we cared. I shall miss him. |
