Paint Code
 
I have a Guards Red 86 Carrera and have looked in the usual places for the paint Code but the tag is not there. Any idea what the paint code # is? I have found #'s on the internet but they vary. I have also heard post 85 Carreras refered to as India Red. Please advise.

Actually, for an 86 the color is actually India Red, which I think is the same color with a different name. The paint code is 027 LM3A G1.

The paint code should be in the front trunk on the left side opposite the fuse box (under the carpet).
