Fuel Tank Nut with mesh screen - NLA

I am redoing my fuel tank and have removed the intake line nut (the one with the mesh screen). It looks like there are two screens, a very fine one, and a not so fine one.

The fine screen is not good and needs to be removed. The coarse screen is ok.

What should I do, I would like to replace the whole thing with a new one but it looks like it's NLA.

Can I go with just the larger (coarse) screen only?

Have you tried calling around, I got mine last year from Parts Heaven after Stevens Creek Porsche said it was NLA.

You may want to try adding an additional screen on the outside of the tank, just before the fuel goes into the pump.
