Cover plate feedback rear torsion bar bush 1980 911 SC
I am looking for feedback and any recommendations from people who have replaced their rear torsion bar bushing cover plates.
I am concerned about fitment over the rubber bushes and any difficulties with the product fitment and quality. Pelican have the URO brand (Ive had issues with their rubber sealing strips) OEM brand HT brand Porsche genuine Dansk URO products Ive found especially the roof sealing rubber strips for the Targa were really bad, way too thick and couldn't close the roof properly. The Dansk cover plate looks like its painted and not plated but Im only going by the photos on the website The rest is just price variations. |

I used Uro and fit etc was good and it was a plated cover. I would get some long bolts the same size as the cover plate bolts . . makes it a lot easier to tighten down the cover plate.

Thanks for your reply, thought more people would respond.
When I spoke to Pelican they said that the URO was stainless steel!! Are they cadmium or or that gold phosphor bronzy plating. |
