Oil LInes

Sorry to cahnge the subject, but why are your oil lines running down the drivers side? Isnt your oil tank on the passenger side? Unless you are running them up and over underneath the car.....

The car has a 3.2L cooler is in the driver side front fender. This was done by the PO.

Porsche

Leave it alone - don't ruin a nice car with hillbilly, tuner decal crap. Anybody with any sense will know it is a Porsche - and the others? Who cares? Leave it alone or sell it and get a Jap car with a big exhaust pipe.

Clean and beautiful car! If it were mine, I wouldn't go with graphics - unless maybe it was important to me to advertise that it's a Carrera.

But to put "PORSCHE" down its flanks? Like, how many people gonna point at the graphics and say "Oh look! It's a Porsche!" Sorry, but the redundancy would leave me smirking if I saw "PORSCHE" plastered on the side of what is so obviously, probably to 90% of the world's population, a Porsche .

Graphics on this car would be "period correct" so I don't see anything wrong with them.

Still...I vote keep it clean.

MHO. Delete the graphics. It looks real nice w/o the decals. It's not a real Carrera or a real RS unless you want to add an asterisk.

Reminds me. I'd always smirk when I saw the latest iteration from GM, Ford or Chrysler with chrome insignia with words like "Electronic Fuel Injection" or "Grand Turismo" emblazoned on each flank. I understood the individual letters that spelled out "Chevrolet" because, in many cases, that was the main clue differentiating it from a Buick, Olds, Pontiac or Cadillac. Another was the amount of chrome used; more in direct proportion to their marketing position. Can you imagine chrome bumpers on a current car? Maybe on the next retro-whatever from FOMOCOGMCHRYSLER.

Luke, very nice color selection and finish..about the lettering? Thats personal choice,if it's
emulating an RS do it right if you think it's overkill ?Don't ,easy as that.. but I understand your
quandry, just saw a thread with what appears to be ghost lettering same color few shades
darker in Carrera script! I likey! May install on my Rs clone when done coming sooooon..Bert
