Sneed comes through on insurance...
My new policy, reflecting clean record, locked garage, agreed value, "no racing etc.", no driving in really bad weather conditions (not gonna happen anyway), with pretty substantial full coverage including uninsured/underinsured motorist, reasonable deductibles of $500 & $250 collision/comp., and their included endorsement for allowing a drive to work "no more than twice a week", limit of 6K miles per year, my cost $340.00 for a year. OK by me, and all in writing.

what is your agreed value? did you have to have a 3rd party sign-off on the value?

No 3rd party. I sent them pictures, wasn't trying to overvalue the car, and I suppose I could (knock on wood that I would ever need to) get a replacement for close to a "wash". I asked for agreed value a bit less than $20K which saves a little premium money, though originally I was going to set it higher. In fact they had sent me a quote at one point and were prepared to offer the policy for more agreed value.
Throughout the process, I spoke to them over the phone, made contact via fax and email, and it was a very pleasant, easy experience. I'm careful on the road, a person doesn't need to drive the hell out of these cars, beat them to death, or be reckless to enjoy them IMO. I get a kick out of seeing it just sitting still! In fact, lots of other folks out on the road or wherever enjoy seeing it, too. It never fails to get compliments and such....that's certainly agreed value, too!

Can you please relay some more information on this "Sneed"? Who are they, what is a contact number or contact information?
Thanks.

....I did turn down $25K for it once, though of course I couldn't be sure of the guy's sincerity. He said his wife wanted a 911, and he pushed me pretty hard, but I like the car, and simply didn't even feel like pursuing a possible sale.

Maybe I'm lucky, but my State Farm policy-
250/500 deductible 250,000/500,000 garaged Pleasure vehhicle, <2500 miles per year Coverage includes the time it's on my trailer to and from the track (of course, not on the track) $25K value $446 per year. That does reflect the fact that it's the 3rd vehicle on the policy behind the 2 BMW's.

Sounds good to me! I believe they offer better pricing to some extent when more vehicles are added.
