I'm out

Just wanted to say "Thanks!" to everyone for years of fun and information. This is truly a "One of a kind" forum. I have yet to see it's equal. I sold my 92 C2 yesterday to a really great guy. I couldn't have wished for a better person to pass the torch to. I'm on to different adventures, but probably no more fast cars for a while. I said in my ad, "I had the best. There's no place to go from here." By best I refer to the Porsche marque of course. They are all great cars in their own right. I also like the people that drive them. :)

Cheers guys! It's been great!SmileWavy

Good luck w/ new hobbies. It's a shame to see folks leave the fold but we look forward to new blood as well.

Any guesses on what you'll do to avoid having disposable income in the future? Bikes, rc planes, cowboy action shooting, scooters?

No need to leave, there is still PPOT...

I took a 25 year break between my 356 phase and my now reborn 911 fixation

Man I hate to see some of the old guys go. On the other hand some day I might sell both of mine but only to upgrade to a 996 or 997 Turbo. You know heat, air, 21st century stuff.

Thanks for being a helpful constructive part of this forum.
It goes without saying we'll miss you and of course we look forward to your return.
Until then may the breeze of life be at your back.

wow, sorry to hear but you'll be back. Porsche is an addiction.

pwd72s 07-13-2008 07:24 AM

I'll echo those urging you to stick around...:)

SP2 07-13-2008 08:26 AM

You don't have to own a 911 to hang around and contribute to this forum. Hope we see you back!

livi 07-13-2008 08:38 AM

See you later, Bob. You will be back. Its a poison.

MattAlpha 07-13-2008 08:39 AM

There are several people who have sold or some how lost their 911 that still contribute to the forum. I'm sure there are several here that contribute or at least read the articles that do not even own a Porsche.
No need to stay away from the forum. If you want to, I'm sure that you can help many in the future with questions that they have.
Look forward to reading some of your future posts,
Matt
