Considering the other cars in the driveway(and each is even less practical than the 911), my truck is Ford Excursion, the best tow vehicle ever made and it will carry anything you can think of.

My DD is a Hyundai Genesis and my wife has a Yukon which we use for hauling our stuff. We need the 7-seater Yukon when more than 3 of the 5 kids are in the house.

Well I bought my first 911 Targa (Boris) and first truck Tacoma 6 months apart. Had to buy a truck because kids treat Hondas as disposible. Too many crashes, so they earned a truck ride and couldn't haul too many kids around. Yes they crashed the Tacoma too, so now we have a beater but strong F150, aka Angry Black.

I have a 911 and a 914-6. No pic of the 911 here but here is the 914 on it maiden voyage and the Defender 110 parked on the side of the "road"

Full disclosure, I DO have a '68 Chevy pickup that I am trying to sell, but my other 'practical' vehicle is a 2009 Smart ForTwo (that I traded in my 2000 Suburban for). I have a trailer and haven't missed the Suburban a bit. The engine is even in the right place!

Also, parking is a breeze:

The 930, an Audi TT, 1960 MGA, and a MINI Cooper, but since I have been moving a lot of 2x6s and drywall lately, a truck would be nice once in a while...
