Looks like an interesting project. Any history on the car, why was it not driven for so long? Take your time getting things worked out, don't be in a hurry to drive the car.
Don't even think about driving the car without getting new tires. Any tire over 8 years old is trash.

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing myself! It sure doesn't look like it was put into storage with the idea it would sit for twenty years. Maybe something happened to the owner who put it there. Or the engine could be toast, that might explain its abandonment. Anyway, taking it apart and cleaning it sounds like a good place to start. Enjoy!
