Nashville Cars and Coffee
 

Hey guys I’ve ran into a host of Porsche owners down here in Mufreesboro, so I’m trying to make one last get together before the holidays kick in (which are right around the corner). I'm also throwing this out a little early so we can all get our honey-do list done this weekend in order to goof off next weekend. The short plan is to meet and talk cars, then go for a drive, and then talk more cars. Anyone is welcome, even if you live outside Nashville or don’t have a Porsche. If you just want to come out and talk cars and not go for a drive that is cool too. If anyone has any questions or needs directions feel free to contact me. PM or email bigdaddyo98@hotmail.com

This place is real easy to find, right off I-24 exit #76, and it has a nice smooth parking lot.

Change the meet to Donut Country and I'll walk from Atlanta to be there.

We're only about 3 hours from the ATL, you can get here early and I'll buy the donuts.

My car is almost ready! So if it is completed before then, count me in. I'll see if Carter can join us with his new 964. The Boro is fine with me as I am sure there are some great roads around there.

Darrell I was going to send you an email and see what the status of your car was. Plus I figured if it wasn't done you could get to work and get it finished. :)

It's perfect fall weather for a run... I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone and new faces.

How about a back road drive down to Huntsville?
Some really nice roads and scenery.

There is a car show in Huntsville on the 15th. Registration starts at 10:00 AM and runs until 2:00 PM. Car judging runs from 2:00 PM until the Awards Ceremony at 5:00 PM.
Toys for Tots is sponsoring and the local PCA is participating. Our goal is to have 40-50 Porsches present. There is special parking for Porsches as well. Donation is $20 to show your car.
Our members are very deverse with every type of Porsche imaginable represented. We have a GT3RS to perfectly preserved 356s.

So come on down after you meet up and munch a few doughnuts!

I did not get to go out to Palooza as I have been sick the last couple of days. Feeling a bit better this afternoon. I was wondering if there was any chance of meeting a little closer to my side of the "mountain".

Darrel I replied to your email. Shame you aren't going to be able to make it. I know you have to be itching to get that thing back. Any idea when that will be?

All we are lacking is bolting on the RarlyL8/M&K muffler, fab the tail pipes, block off throttle body vac lines, and tune the correct AFR. I am "itching" like crazy! I'll call you for a run when she is ready after I pick her up from Carter's in the Boro.

The event will be held at the old airport on the NW corner of the Parkway (Rt 231/431) and Airport Rd.
There are some great roads heading south of Murfreesboro to Huntsville. One is 231S which will take you right to the show.
Looks like the weather will be not so good so bundle up if you come down.

Rarly can you shoot me a contact number in case we head down that way and get lost? I looked at it is an hour and 45 mins from my house to H-ville, when looking at coming in on 231. So I'll see what the group wants to do tomorrow.

Pookie, Palooza was a blast again. Ended up with about 1125 miles driven(most above posted speeds)!!:rolleyes: We were trying to beat the darkness..
I wish I wasn't commited already. I would love to drive up and eat donuts with y'all again. And a drive down to Huntsville would be a blast also. Gotta get Brin's parents in the new house asap.
