Question Can someone look up a Trans # for me?

Hello,
I am trying to find out what year this trans is from and if possible the type, gearing, limited? and year of the car it came from.

If possible I would also like to know the vin number of the car it came from.

All I know about the trans is that it is a 6 speed G 50 from a late 90's 993 C2 or C2S
with a number on the bottom of G50201 003742

I am trying to sell it and the guy looking at it says he needs this info to register the Kit car he plans to put it in.

Thanks In advance for you help.

Thanks for the information on the trans is there any way to find out what year car it came from?

Do you still have some older 3 piece BBS wheels for sale, I think they where the E 50 model?
Justin

1/2 non lsd/lsd
002001 > serial #s
