Well, ended up with a carbon fiber iroc kit, so I will either paint the car gunmetal and bolt on, or blend them and stick with venetian blue full paint....
Still indecided, but leaning....any votes?

bronze open spoke wheels,(i have some cup 1s) big red brakes, droooool. its basically go time for every thing but the brakes.(gotta reserve funds for motor top over-hual and and unknown expenses surrounding a intercooled whipple supercharger install.

I say go for it. I think there are already enough pretty and perfect Porsches out there. I personally would like to see more rough and raw rides. This is the direction I am going with my '86, with a bit of rat thrown in there too.

If you want more here is the entire build. I suggest a comfortable chair and something to drink

Looks really good on a race car. I have been thinking about using that same method for mine but wasn't sure on finish look. Seems like in a circumstance where they would be damaged you could simply remove and replace.

That was the idea. I didn't build it to look that way. It looks that way due to function. Just remember to keep the pieces you cut out just in case you want to weld them back on.

Fortunately (unfortunately?) I started with a roller that already had rear flares removed. Sounds like good advice though.
