I agree that the front shock is probably a Koni, The only ones i'd recommend are the sport versions which will have an adjustment knob at the top of the shock

The yellow Bilsteins are likely Sports, if so the specs are 311/160 which is quite aggressive for a stock suspension SC, the regular Bilstein HD(green) are 195/151

the specs are x10 N at .52m/sec

Bilstein HD/Bilstein HD is what was used on 930
some guys w/ more aggressive setups(me) use Bilstein HD/Bilstein Sport, but there is a lot more suspension development and refinement to be done before I'd recommend that for every one. The icing on the cake for a really supple yet really well controlled ride is to give the Bilsteins a digressive revalve.

But starting w/ fresh bushes is a very good first step, there are essentially 4 levels of bush to consider, the last 2 are mostly track only so forget them, What's left is stock rubber or stiffer sport rubber, which to use depends on what type of ride and use youa re going for

As Flow jo syas you can also use 21mm rear wheels spacers , there are some advantages in handling to wider track front and rear, just doing so in the front induces less understeer which is generally a good thing on a stock 911, +21 at both ends will raise grip levels at both ends and restore stock handling traits, that said in general it is far better to used wider wheels and tires(while keeping tire OD as low as possible)

Interesting specs - I always thought it odd (I have an 84 Carrera) that it was such heresy to put 18's on the 84-88's (at least back in the early 90's and mid 2000's. Everyone puts 18's on 964's and its the same body (fenders, flares etc.) although with different bumpers, body skirts etc.

Have we just gotten used to 18-20+ on almost every car nowadays? Tires (but more importantly wheel options) are infinitely more accessible in the sizes.

Hopefully there is only one version of Speed Yellow. I still remember the laughter from behind the counter when I walked into my Subaru dealer and tried to order a bottle of World Rally Blue. After they stopped laughing, some one managed to ask "which one?" and burst out laughing again.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
some don't like the look of 'rubber bands' on big wheels, some don't like the look of really short tires, especially when the car isn't lowered to close the gaps, some like the tire close to the lip, others like the wheel tucked up into the fender

most every one else is somewhere in between

selecting a wheel and tire set is full of compromises, you have to balance optics w/ fit and performance and cost and availability, everyone has different priorities in each of these different areas

to me the most critical thing is what does the selection does to performance, tall tires kill acceleration, big sidewalls make for less precise handling and less grip, given that most 911s no matter the year came w/ tires that were ~25" +/- that seems to be a good target for a max tire OD, the rest is fit, grip, optics and price
