I don't have too many pictures of the car since I put the correct ducktail decklid and bumper back on it, and had Mr. Esposito paint them to match. Still a work in progress. Here's one more-

What is its story? You say correct ducktail and I see flares. Is it a 74' Carrera with flares welded on from the factory? I've seen one other example like that.

Or is it an ex-rally car? Very cool car, nonetheless.

What mirrors are those - I first thought they are Aero mirrors but they aren't.

What color is the paint? Looks too dark for Platinum.

Yup, that is a nice Arena 993. I saw the thread with your new/old car - didn't know it has hints of brown in it. Very nice.

This thread is filled with so much amazingness.
Yes! Amazingness.... And a really big WOW, a there interior pics somewhere?

You are too kind, Will.
You are correct, it's a 74 US Carrera. I don't have a lot of history on the car before 1990, or the COA yet. The previous owner told me that when he had the bare metal repaint done, that they couldn't fine any welds for the rear flares once the car was stripped. So, the flares MAY be factory optioned? or, someone did a really nice job of installing them. Personally, I really like the flares... a perfect compliment to the 3.6 under the ducktail

I like that it's been hot rodded.... I can enjoy the car and I'm not strapped to the guilt or worry of being a "caretaker"

Handles great (lowered and corner balanced) and nice stance, but I'd prefer it a touch higer since it is hard to avoid scraping the belly pan pulling into the right half of my garage.

She is fast and fun, just needs a brake upgrade and suspension. The bushings are all pretty tired. I'm not going for excess, just sensible upgrades that work.
