Wevo Motor Mount Pillows, Blue or Black
I currently have the Wevo Motor Mounts with the blue pillows. They are a little too harsh for me. I must be getting old. I was thinking aobut getting a set of black pillows.
Has anyone swapped out the blue pillows for black? Or vice-versa? If so, could you tell a difference? How much?

I believe Wevo created the black ones after the original release of the product, which offered only the blue bushings. So the black ones should definitely make a difference to you- that's specifically why they were created.

I have the Blue Pillows as well. I think they're great but my car is a street car only so I'll be ordering the Black ones soon. (I'm 44)
They have some specs on the softness of the new mounts on their web site. But I'm not sure how that relates to real world driving... They're no expensive so IMO worth buying and trying out for yourself.

I drove mine for the first time last night (neighbors will truly despise me now....) and didn't notice much in terms of vibration/harshness with the blue pillows. But my new exhaust is seriously loud, so it's hard to tell. Must do more driving to feel it out.
I suspect the transmission mounts would be the ones to be cautious of. The trans can transmit a lot of noise and vibration to the cabin since it's closer to you and your hand is directly connected to it via the gearshift lever. If I do the Wevo mounts on the G50 crossmember, i'll start with the black pillows.
