Are you kidding me? Bergamo? I've been twice over the last few years. My wifes aunt and Uncle live there, the Aunt just moved to Torino to be closer to the other aunt, anyway I stayed a few bus stops west of the main strip of Citta Bassa on via Mattiolli. We hit Citta Alta many many times. Also to Lago de Como, Garda, Maggiore, San Pelligrino, Fopollo, etc, etc. nice place!!
The guy driving to Sicily is already there. He's updating his thread each day and I think he was just in Verona. This is getting into Off Topic teritory but here are a few pics I took a few years ago:

Great place to live and drive! I use to work in Lugano and would have loved to have those cars there!! I cannot imagine, a track day at Monza!!!!!!

This morning I paid $2.09 for regular (by the airport, MO bottom, they only mark premium up 20 cents by the way for you st louis guys). See if I do the conversion right.
1 Euro = 1.4549 U.S. dollars 1 US gallon = 3.78541178 liter So the gallon cost 1.44 euros per gallon or 0.38 euros per liter. is 1.350 Euro/Liter $7.44 per gallon?

My Italian is so bad that when I speak they think I'm speaking Chinese.
Oh yeah, my family is from Bari. The dialect is impossible to understand unless you are from the surrounding area. Mio padre fu nel Bersaglieri in Verona durante WWII. L'anno scorso noi andai verso Italia verso visita mio relativo in Bari. Io fu anche in Venezia Verona e avere famiglia in Vicenza. Che un magnifico nazione! Ciao! Ho vissuto per molti anni in Italia (Milano e Roma) e ho ancora molta familglia in tutta Italia. Ora abito vicino a Washington D.C. Sei un concessionario di Porsche d'epoca o un privato (ho visto il tuo logo "porschemania.it")? Magari riesci a trovare dei ricambi o macchine interessanti a buon prezzo? Ci "vediamo". |
