How Many 911 3.2 Anniversary convertible M097 ???

Hy,

I have a 1989 (program K) Carrera 3.2 Anniversary convertible Germany version M097.

In '89 Porsche build 3 version of this rare jubilee 911 (Not to be confused with the commemorative of 1988) :

M097 Germany

M098 USA

M099 ROW

Do you know how much they have produced for each variation ( M097 M098 M099 Cabrio, Targa, Coupe) ?

Do you know books which speak at length?

Thank you

Ciao

SuperMario

M097 is Anniversary Model (D) ... not Jubilee... check here on page 483.
http://www.porsche.com/all/media/pdf/originalparts/en/E_911_89_KATALOG.pdf

According to the "Red Book" There were 1000 made- 300 came to the US (M098) - 100 were Cabs- Doesn't say how many were made for Germany...

Are you sure you have an 89 (K) and not an 88 (J)? What month was it built? Maybe you have the only '89 with this option ;-)

I've heard the 25 year anniversary model made in '88 referred to as Jubilee and there was a 964 Jubilee model in '93 but can't find any references to an 89 Jubilee version.

On the book there are many small and large errors. Often confuse the two commemorative Series Program J and K. In Italy and Europe all the version are called "Jubileo" MkI and MkII.

It is not only interesting how many Convertibles were produced, but how many cars in total?

Did a targa-version excist of the "25 years series"?

danke,
Andreas
