Tensioner Failure?

My 75 2.7 died on me this weekend....

Heard something pop, lost power and then started to get intake backfires. Intake backfires set my air filter on fire, lots of fun. Went with my gut and opened up the chain casings and found these in the right side:

Need some help figuring out exactly what failed. I'm not immediately see the source of these bits.

Thanks,

The cam nut is loose and the pieces are from the cam drive, the back piece that the pin goes through to make alignment and lock it up.
You will need to pull the heads and replace bent valves with a valve job. Your cam will be fine but you will need to replace the 2 part drive and pin.
Really need to split the case to get all the junk out of the bottom of the case, check the gears in the oil pump scavange side and see how much junk you sucked up.

Sorry for your loss...

Thanks Bruce, good eye on the loose cam nut. She broke on the last drive before I deploy to the land of moon dust; guess I'll have plenty of time to daydream up a swap or rebuild solution!
