Stock steel is orange, Lightweight aluminum 928 is silver.

My 930 has an aluminum spare too, I think they are factory for the Turbo cars.

I've been looking for a new spare. recently inspected mine and it is in horrible condition. any idea on where to get them?( i did a parts search a while back and inconclusive)

just saw your thread so i decided to ask.

• The bolt pattern is the same on both,

• The steel stocker weighs 35 lbs, and the alloy replacement is 29. I was hoping for more wt loss, but it is what it is.

• I don't know where to buy replacements except for ebay.
