Mirror question
 
From information found here and from Pelicans who have a great depth of knowledge, I understood that Porsche did not make a right side "chrome" mirror for the early cars (74-75). Could someone tell me if this right side mirror is OE? It has the markings and looks like the left mirror.

If it is truly OE, then I guess some right side mirrors were produced.:confused:

I always assumed that some were made for the right hand drive countries.

So did I, but others have said that was not the case--only ther round mirror (Durant) was available during those years for right hand drive cars.

Fairly sure that chrome RHS mirror was an option on LHD cars delivered in some markets like the US and some European delivery countries 73-75. Not the UK or Oz though.

Check the PET for 74 - 809-10. Part is 911 731 017 01 or one of its numerous variations.
