Again, thank you all for the comments. I soak them all in like a sponge.
All Pelicianeers will be happy to know that I have changed my scope from "local Targa" to "national Cab". I see now that it will be in my long-term best interest to do so. The other good news is that I am in no hurry. When the right car comes along, I will know it. Thank you to the members that have PM'd me with offers for partial cabs of varying years that you have for sale or a line on. To be realistic, right now I know that I need a complete, running-ish car to start with so that I can learn and get a frame of reference to go by. A "roller" just leaves too many variables for me, even with the "Intranetssss" community to go by. ;-) Thank you again! Tron |

I did my 83 targa. Sorry but I am not a Targa fan. I purchased everything from a wrecked cab. I followed the Porsche conversion manual. You can not tell mine from factory. PERFECT ! I purchased everything for a $1000. I did not find it hard to do ...at all. I had the targa but knew from day one i would do the conversion. good luck!
