Blow Off valve on 993 Turbo

Hello,

i bought as second hand a 993 turbo with a blow off valve soldered in the intercooler. Nothing to complain but the release sound from this valve. It's sometime so loud and disturbing that i'm thinking about a way to remove or shutoff it.

My biggest problem is that it's soldered in the middle of the intercooler, so i would have to cut it, and then solder a plug on the left hole. The original part itself is way to expensive to purchase, so i will have to sort out something.

If you guys have any suggestion, feel free to drop me a line

That looks like an HKS SSQV. Pretty sure you can buy a baffle kit for it that will change the pitch and tone of the sound. Hopefully you can "tone it down" until you have enough money to replace it with the stock / factory recirc valve.
