1972 distributor will it work on a 2.7l CIS?

I bought a distributor from a guy who said that it was for a 75 2.7l. I was dumb and did not check the numbers.
The numbers are 0 231 169 005. Previous posts on here said it was for a 1972 911s.

It is in great shape and the guy sent the mated gears with it.
I wanted a spare so i could send out the original to get it rebuilt while still being able to drive the car.

The shaft does not have any play and looks great, i also received 2 mated gears with it, some sort of spacer and a c clip.

My questions:
Are these 005's common enough that i would not offend the porsche gods by getting it recurved to fit the 2.7 cis or is the 005 a rare beast that i should sell and get another model designed for the 2.7?
