Interchanging roofs
 

I'm purchasing a 72 nonsunroof roof to replace the original roof on my 85 Carrera. Does anyone know if these are interchangable or will I have any issues?

Should fit okay. Roofline from 69 thru 89 never changed. Perhaps even SWB cars, but I am unsure of that.

all the roofs from 'at least '69 911 to the '98 993 are interchangeable

I sold one from a 68 a bout a year and a half ago for 300, maybe apples and oranges, I have to say that is a part of the car I did not plan on getting much att. in parting it out, May be post to anyone parting a car close to you, bring the saz's-all, I met a guy off the fereeway on the way to Hershey and felt lucky!!
But I would love to know your plan on doing the splice and save the stiffness.
