Wind wing
I am missing having a wind wing on my (new to me) 1986 Carrera Targa. Anybody have experience with finding a window frame with a wind wing?

If you can find a window frame from an early targa (73 or earlier, I think) they had wind wings and it will fit right in.
You have to replace the entire frame; not too difficult. However, they are all chrome-like finish so you'd need to figure out a good way to get it to satin black. |

My '76 Targa has wind wings, so they were offered at least thru then....
They work much better than the A/C did (before I yanked the system out ).

I was just doing some checking, they kept the wind wings longer on the targas than on the coupes (I think). Maybe even to 78 as an option, maybe.
