quick braille/deka battery check
I have been researching batteries on here and have come up with a lof of info, which includes the fact that deka batteries are the same as the braille batteries. Will this battery work well in my 76 911, which is a daily driver, stock lights, and slightly upgraded audio?
it should be the same as- Braille Battery USA - B2618 thanks in advance, just want to make sure before i order today. Last edited by michael pagano; 10-27-2010 at 01:25 PM.. |

I would go larger. That is the same Deka I used for my daily driven 993. On 30 degrees days, it would be slow to start the car. Now with my commute shorter (15 min) commute, and after 3 years, it would have a hard time starting the car if left sitting for 3-4 days.
Also, you would have to buy screw-on clamp posts for the battery. |

Larger. That's too small for a car with anything more than an antique transistor radio, unless you keep it on a battery maintainer all the time. Braille 3121 or the Deka equivalent work fine in a driver, at least in a moderate climate.
