New Porsche M491 Owner
I wanted to say thanks to all for the great info posted on this board. I have wanted a Porsche since I was 16 and have been researching my first purchase for the last two months. This board has been a valuable resource.
This is my first post, but I have been reading here for awhile. I finally pulled the trigger and bought my first Porsche two weeks ago, a 1986 M491 Targa, drove it 12 hours to it's new home in Chicago. Within 3 days installed a Steve Wong Chip and just installed the H4 headlights last night... I see this getting addictive. My wife and I like it so much we're ready to pull the trigger on a M491 Cab, because she wants her own!!! Anyway thanks to all for the great info here. ![]() Mike Last edited by Bitdrive; 10-22-2010 at 09:21 AM.. |

Wow Mike, you weren't kidding about getting pulled over on your way home! Car looks good though (but now that you've made it home w/o scratches, relocate the bra to the garbage can before it makes a mess!)...congrats!

It was funny, once he saw the bill of sale & title, he was enthralled with the car, said he's never seen one and was trying to figure out where the engine was located.
