Oil t-stat. URO vs Sebro/Porsche
Anyone have opinion on after market oil t-stat?
Our host sells URO for ~$200.00 less than the OEM.

This might be useful:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/1160945-uro-parts-external-oil-thermostat.html When I added an external 'stat to my car, I bought a used one and a rebuilt kit. No issues. |

I tried with a URO unit but had issues (in shared thread). I ended up going through the pain of opening my original unit and rebuilding it. In hindsight, it might be worth the $450 to just buy a new OE unit and install it. Depends on your appetite for fighting old crusty parts. Rebuilding your old T-stat can be a process...

I hate doing anything twice.
Buy quality parts. Do it right. Do it once |
