Magnus,
came to this thread late. I'll add my congrats to the spectacularly executed visions of early 911's. Your willingness to show off your jewels naturally invites curiosity (a la Google Search), so at the risk of being forward I'll ask whether you are the Magnus Walker of Serious Inc.? If so, I'll redouble my congratulations for mastering wearable as well as drivable fashion. If not, you have still given fellow Pelicanites plenty of material with which to exercise our fantasies. Best

NONE of us ever grow tired of this thread, or any of your car threads, Magnus!
For those of you that don't know, there is a good article about our long haired rocker friend in the new Classic Porsche magazine. I picked up a copy for myself and one for a friend in Germany. Mag, you have my dream garage. Well, maybe even better if you had a couple 993s in there alongside those little early rockets... But yours is the closest I have seen to perfect I think. Serious clothing is pretty cool. Maybe too cool for me, but maybe I can pick up a couple of simpler pieces from you in the future. |

I think that is one of the most kick-ass 911 interpretations that I have seen. Gives me ideas on my new project.

I dig the look of this car. Nothing like a early 911, thats loud and fast! Awesome cars.

Magnus, you have taste :-)
Where do you buy small (there are plenty large ones available) retangular mirrors, right & left and where to get those rubber straps (smallish) for rear hood? I've -73 RS built ongoing and can't find some parts what would make a look. Keep going and thanks for sharing your stories! Rgds, Harri

Magnus, always hated how the rear R buckets looked like they didn't fit right on most car. Never thought about glassing them in until I saw yours though. I guess that makes me a copy cat or an emulator depending on how you look at it. (Is that a word? Definition 2 (emulate) by googles standards. No way I could surpass what you have done with your collection)
BTW, please tell me your garage has had a seismic retrofit. jonathan hwgunner ********

man...glad this thread came back to the top. This car is up there with some of my all time favs on the board. After re-reading the entire thread, I started to notice even more attention to detail. specifically, the points of symmetry(sp?). Im really diggin' how the exhaust pipes are directly under the bumperettes, dual mirrors, the PCA badge directly in the middle, muffler straps just so lined up, perfectly level bumpers and the right gaps all around. just a great job on this one. Cant say enough good things. Earlier in the thread there was a mention of an RSR build in the future, cant wait for that one.

Your garage to house such an unbelievable collection of some of the baddest early
911 hot-rods along with all those eye candy parts, I have to admit gives me the chills everytime I see it on Pelican's Threads. I wish one day to have the honor of seeing all these bad ass 911's on the same grounds.. and the pleasureto meet and talk PORSCHE.
