Efficient ways to increase HP on '86 3.2???
Assuming a car has a stock 3.2 engine and exhaust system, looking for ideas on ways to increase HP without any sacrifice to street drivability. What is the maximum HP one might achieve without turbo or supercharger? What would logical steps and their order? What suppliers or contacts would one choose to initiate these changes? What order would one take to make the changes, saving the most difficult or expensive for last? All opinions will be appreciated.

Bruce Anderson's Performance Handbook has a great section on this. Seems Porsche did a pretty good job from the factory and there's not a lot you can do without significant investment.
