Rich,
I'm glad you like it. Looks good in the new garage. I'm going to do a toilet paper version.......I think I have some old 356 rods in the basement. Al PS: Those quick release pins will come in handy for timed paper roll change events..............The unfair advantage.

The Landy has landed! All the frame welding is done and it's time to get to work on everything else it needs...which is just about everything.
![]() The garage is going to fill up fast now. We're pulling the boat and the Sea-Doo out next week and they'll go in here too.

Update:
I finally got tired of cigars and scotch while sitting in uncomfortable folding chairs in the driveway. These leather chairs have just been sitting unused and gathering spiders, so... The garage is now home to the very exclusive Mobile Adventurers Club. This is Rev.1. Rev.2 will have larger pnuematic wheels and be powered by an electric motor.

Living the dream. Love it. That view is absolutely stunning (of the water although the Porsche and Land Rover take a close second).

Rev. 2 of the Mobile Adventurers Club is now complete. We summited the driveway on the initial test run and eventually made it all the way down to the beach...and back, with power to spare.
A little about the Mobile Adventurers Club which has cost about $325 so far. The platform is braced outdoor plywood that was left over from our deck and framed by clear cedar 2x4's that I scavenged from my neighbor when he rebuilt the upper deck on his dock. The chairs are distressed leather Barcaloungers that my wife exiled to the garage after the cat did a number on the fabric backs. The trunks belonged to my parents and were last used when they returned from Europe, where they met and got married. The blue trunk still has a Customs tag dated 24 November 1952. The rugs are Egyptian wool and were also ejected from the house for...some reason. The wheels are pneumatic HF 8" tires on 4x2 steelies...$13 apiece. I parted out my mom's walker for the tiller, foot pegs (not shown), and bumper. The motivator is a motorized 12v trailer jack rated at 350W with a 5000 lb max load...$250. It's not very fast, but the adventure is in the journey, not the destination. With the zip-tie cruise control on, it's a hands free operation. The lamp is from our former tiny cabin on Lake Bosworth and the shark tooth is from our first trip to Maui. The monogramed crystal ashtray was my dad's. Rev. 3 will include a volt meter, 110 power inverter, re-routed wiring, some lighter outlets for TBD accessories, the battery moved to the bottom trunk, and some trim around the top trunk so our scotch glasses don't slide off while going up hills. Can you tell I'm having fun? ![]() A little video... https://youtu.be/4If7bF_zF9w

Been a while...update: not a whole lot new. The Rover is done and a 911SC Targa that I'm storing for a friend. Storage fee is a 12+ year old bottle of single malt scotch per month.
