150k miles and a new present for my 911

just rolled past 150,000 miles on the clock the other day. still driving strong!!! also just installed a chin spoiler - feels quite a bit more stable, and eventually i want to get a duck tail.

bought the spoiler earlier this year, finally got around to putting it on. Thanks a bunch to nineball for a couple of free brackets, and to boyt911sc for the excellent spoiler at a reasonable price and all the help resolving CIS issues! I love this board! oh and you'd still be amazed at how many people ask what year it is...

edit:
and i see i have a marker light out. amazing what you notice when you take pictures...

Nice.

I'll hit 150k in my '82 within a couple weeks. Maybe I should finally change the bumper smile (sitting on that project for a while) or maybe get a new targa front seal and make my top work or maybe change out the windshield seal (gasket waiting in a box).

Hmmm. Decisions.

haha yes the first 2 holes were pretty nerve wracking. actually drilled the first one in from those then lined it up and it worked out (although one side has 4 holes. oops!)

i actually repainted the red valance to satin black and clear coated it(didn't have red paint that matched) i think it looks pretty good, a nice contrast to the Red body. (rear valence is black as well, with a custom gt3 style exhaust). the front was so badly rock chipped i decided it would help prevent rusting.

142k and counting here. Your spoiler looks great - take a wider shot and show the whole car!

will do. my goal is eventually to obtain a ducktail, get some SSI's or Pre 74 heat exchangers, and get one of Ben at M&K's GT3 style 2 in 2 out mufflers. ought to boost the power output a bit and add downforce/wicked awesome good looks of a duck

rear of the car while still in the garage - kind of hard to see the black. but the muffler is a borla XR-1. my build thread for it is: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/549470-gt3-style-homemade.html

- been pretty rainy here and i haven't had a reason to go anywhere so it hasnt been out in about a week. once i give her a good wash i'll post some full shots.

and for fun, my brother's 67 3/4 ton Chevy, fully restored. dad says its a rebuilt 327 bored out to i cant remember. FAST

here you go! not a huge fan of the slight window tint, but comparing it to the non tinted 1970 VW behind it, it makes a world of difference if i have to park it in the sun for a while.

Great looking p-car. Very nice Chev as well. Man, I wish I had a garage like that one....but I'm sure the wife probably wouldn't agree.

Really like the black valances and your exhaust-just plain jealous of all your garage space-you could park a Cessna in that thing!
