Has anyone seen my alternator?

Well.. the bloke in the Porsche place didn't knw what it is.... I bought it today, it came out of an SC and is to go in my 75 911 2.7 tomorrow - but I'm not sure what it is.

It has no name - but some numbers...

Let me run them by you.

21937-FA3

and....

DCA814IR

Any Ideas? It doesn't look llike the Paris RHone ones I found on the internet. Also I have another question - It has a fan and housing with it but they are rough (painted by monkeys) and I would rather keep my old ones. But will the new alternator fit into my old housing - with my old fan...?

Any help would be useful in time for tomorrow. Also I'm not sure how to wire it up as the alternator doesn't look the same as the one on the 'Alternator Upgrade' bulletin I've got.

Apologies for so many questions all at once...

Oh.. and another thing... The finned reg. looks the same as the Paris Rhone but where there appear to be two crescent shape metal covers with holes in on the Paris alternator - mine has none. There are two rows of four nuts in the same position instead.
