Dunlop Direzza tire life and wear
So what are people getting for tire life out of their Star Specs? I'm at the wear marks on my rears and have almost 17 500 miles on this set. They have only street miles, mostly highway and spirited back road with some city driving, as well - kinda average for most people, I suspect.
Another question I have is, with very even wear across almost the entire width of the 255/40-17 tire, should I be happy with my alignment settings with respect to wear? Handling seems pretty damn good. The outside almost one inch of each side shows a hair less wear than the rest of the tread. Would the experts recommend slightly less pressure? I usually run 30 FR/36RR. My fronts are even as well, but have quite a bit more tread remaining.

I got two years out of a set of Star Specs with about a dozen track days as well thrown in ...
The rears were in better shape than the fronts although they wouldn't have been very confidence inspiring in the rain ! I purchased another set of four this Summer to run as rain tires as compared to my Nitto NT01's which are dedicated dry track tires. Ran my Dunlops with 29/34 pressures and had good tire wear although now i have way more camber and don't have enough street mileage on them to judge ! A lot of people i know run the Star Specs and are extremely happy with them ! Cheers ! Phil
