Leather Door Tops??

Have the leather piece to cover my 80SC door tops. Does the stitch line go on the top line towards the window or the bottom line towards the door panel?

Picture would be very helpful and appreciated!!

My 1980 SC had leather door tops without any stitching, it was the original, full leather interior.

I have full leather in my 80 Weissach and my 86 turbo and I concur with no stitching.

Thanks to both of you!!!! Interesting, makes it easier to put the leather on without the stitching, can't sew worth a darn !!
