Need help with the drivers side window regulator , the window will not roll up all the way and i have been told a pivit will take care of the problem.i just don't know which one to get horazontal or virtical for a 1970 coupe, and if there is any tricks to do the job done easer Thanks Jerry

The only way to verify which pivot is to disassemble the door and determine what regulator you have in place. Then look at the pivot point to make sure the wear is what is causing the problem.
I have the same problem on my targa. to me, the coupe window frame is easier to remove than the targa.

No it's not, once your remove the interior trim, frame, etc then its pretty self explanatory once you see in there. Do a search as there are few great posts on how to do this. Once you pull the window out, you remove the regulator and you will see if the pivot is shot as well as the spring, etc..
