Fresh Medium Ivory Paint L132

Well a long time project in the making getting closer to the end. Fresh Medium Ivory paint on my 3.8 track car projekt. The three Polish guys down the block from my shop have had the car for the past 3 months and it is finally finished. I should be rolling her back into my garage a few hundred feet from the body shop.

These guys do a lot of mechanical and bodywork for my business vehicles and I decided to give them a shot on the track beast.

Two Polish guys in their 60's took on the project. They were very excited to work on a Porsche and they really put in a lot of detail work. The only complaint is that they sprayed the oil lines, but I its a small problem. I guess it got lossed in the translation.

The original color of L132 Medium Ivory is not done justice by these phone pics. I'll post more as the projeckt progresses.

What do you guys think of the color? I wanted to go with something louder but I stayed with the original color.

Love that color, I hope it's the same deep vintage, "dark" white in person as in the pics.

It is really a very rich looking color. It is velvety

Partly yellow and partly white.

I can't wait to get my Alton fuchs mounted up!

Same color as my car. It is kind of frustrating that it always looks too "white" in pictures.

It looks great!

Will that car be streetable? Would love to see it at one of our Brooklyn get togethers. Or I might have to start poking around Greenpoint...

Cafe,

the car is "semi streetable", as long as the driver is willing to work at driving it in a tame fashion.

I would easily be able to bring the car out since I store it at my shop in Greenpoint.

The problem is, now I have to get it back together. Between work, a home remodel and now carpal tunnel its gonna be a little while until she can come out to play. Oh, I also have a G50 to install.

You could roll by one Saturday when I'm in the shop working on her for some moral support and meet her.

Moral support is about the only kind I can offer since I am relatively new to the P-cars. I put off my home renovation until next year. Maybe the year after. But in order to stay married I need to hang a new back door this weekend instead of a) replace fuel filter b) diagnose problem with fresh air blower c) change tranny oil d) all of the above. Oh, and we have like four youth soccer games/practices. PM sent.

Regards from Red Hook,

Robey

Robey, I'm doing a new patio door and gutted the downstairs apt for my son and it too has become a slippery slope, "while your in" there project.

I'll call you the first Saturday I'm back in the shop.

Regards

Looks great!

Are they Polish, or do they just polish?

Same colour as my 'T'
My car gets a lot of attention and comments on the colour - classic and tastefull!

Almost an 'old English' white
My mate has an MGC very similar:

Very nice on a long hood. I agree, L132 is subtle and yet very rich looking in person, pics to not do it justice.

They are Polish polishers
