San Diego Area Pelicanhead Get Together This Saturday!

Just a reminder to all interested San Diego area Pelicanheads that we are having the 2nd get-together of the "Informal San Diego Porsche Group" at my house this Saturday at 3:00PM until we all get tired of talking about our cars (when could that be?). All 911 fans are welcome to attend.

Suitable German refreshment

will be provided along, with chips, dips, etc. but please feel free to bring anything you would like. I have a number of responses already, but if you are thinking of attending and haven't contacted me already, please post a reply so I get an idea of how much stuff to buy.

Sorry, I don't have play station like Chris Streit back in Chicago, but I do have video-cassettes of LeMans, Rendezvous (world's best 10 minute movie), and Grand Prix. I also have a DVD player if somebody wants to bring something. I also have a 8mm camera we can use like VCR if we have anyone with any in-car footage.

Since Chris Streit is organizing a meeting at the same time back in Chicago, we may try a speaker-phone link-up for an almost "coast-to-coast" (does Lake Michigan count as a coast?) meeting!

Bringing your 911 is recommended but not required.

I am working on some door prizes.

PCASDR is holding an autox in the SE lot at Qualcomm that day, so I won't make it. Sounds fun, though.

A couple other people are coming after the autocross -- we will probably hang around until about 7:00 PM and you are welcome to stop by afterward.

I spent many happy hours with my two 5.0s -- it will feel right at home!
