I have not heard rumours of RR V however, the team that help put it together are at it again!

My vote would be for COTA in Texas. I'm sure you'd get cars from both coasts at a centralized location. In October, the weather would be as nice there as at Cal. or Fla.

It was last time, except:
1. I had to retire early from my race on Sunday... loss of compression. 2. Visit to the Media Center late Sunday... only a few folks were there including Derek Bell. We were all watching Indy Car Vegas coverage of a racing fatality. That was sad. Here is a "relevant" youtube blast from the past: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9E6F3wHsmI0

For those motivated toward cheaper and more grass roots accomodations, looks like campsites will open up in December at the track.
Hope to run into a few Pelicans there. :-) Cooper |

Where are you guys booking rooms? The couple places I've tried won't accept dates that far out.

You need to call them, no web reservations.

Called the Hyatt tonight and made my reservation. They've already jacked up the rates for the RRV weekend (though not nearly as bad as for the Historics--holy shmoly, $1000/night!!!). I got lucky last time around and made my reservation before the hotel knew about RRIV.
