I'm knee deep in winter 911 projects as we speak. Let's fire up a NE 911 run sometime this spring!

Cheers.

Same Dutchman that has been doing photos on the VwVortex for over a decade? Last I knew he was a Rotterdam resident.

i find it interesting to go go back & look thru the old pictures of the car during the process.

just back from paint

looks quite raw with not much on it

all in all it took almost a year admitatdly it was not a full time build with quite a few breaks in between,
it seams each car i build takes more time than the one before.

i feel this is my best build to date

i am pleased with the outcome...

now i should go drive it some more.

cheers

magnus

It goes without saying that I've always loved the body lines of a 911. That said, the overhead shot above is a perspective I personally haven't seen before but love. It's no wonder this body style represents one of the most enduring ever. Great photos!

right side mirror..
i kept looking over there & there was not one there..

sure helps..

next up ...
sunvisors

handy on those early morning sunrise runs...

i hated the factory tan side..
so that got sprayed black..

believe it or not.....

the clock still works...

Magnus, Where did you find the right side outside mirror for this newest car? I looked and could not find nice ones. I bought a replica from our host, but it was poorly made and I would not use it. My left hand mirror like this is from a 74 and is stainless. It is not highly polished. Are yours chrome plated or polished stainless steel?
