Super nice build!! Really in inspiring!

One question about the hoses to the thermostat and oil cooler, which size did you use on the hoses? Is it AN10 or AN12?

I'm mounting oil cooler on my car but I have the 3.2 engine and I'm interested to get input on what size works and what don't work...

Thanks Petter,
I've been following your build this winter. Looking good! I'm not sure what size the hoses are as I bought the whole "kit" from Instant-G.
Instant-G 3.6 Liter Conversions
Hopefully someone with more technical knowledge on this could chime in. I do vaguely remember reading about the sizing in another thread last year. Did you get the flange issue figured out yet?

Yeas I think it will be solved, I'll get a pair of G50 flanges tomorrow. I will try to find the thread about hose size.

This winter I only have a few smaller projects to tackle.
First is my sticky/stiff throttle.
I rebuilt the pedal cluster a few years ago so I know the bushings are still good but the throttle lever has been moving side to side last year and I figured it had weakened and may be bent. I bought a new one from our host and plan on reinforcing it in the weak areas.
Well, I removed the lever this morning and was surprised to see no bending of metal. What happened was the weld had broken away between the shaft and the lever. It looks like the new one has more weld in that area so I should be fine.

Tom, I have been watching your shift points with the video you shared with me (chasing the Atom). I am assuming you are running 8:31 and a stock gear-set. How much HP are you running with? Just trying to gauge things for my car's transmission ratio plans. IF you knew your rpm/speed at your up-shifts that would also help me.

John, my gears are stock except for 2nd. I have a 1.65 from Guard. I'm really happy with 2nd being closer to 3rd. The low end torque of the 3.6 works great exiting turn 2 at our track and I don't have to upshift until I'm ready to setup for turn 3. I could probably leave it in 2nd gear around turn 3 but I would run out of revs during exit. I'm not racing so no need to be at the ragged edge all the time (getting old I guess). I think if I still had the 3.0 I would probably be bogging down exiting turn 2 with this gear. The diff. is factory original limited slip which is great for turn 2 and heavy braking at turn 9. The 3.6 vram is probably putting out approx. 300hp at the crank. I haven't verified that. I know it's certainly fast enough for what I do with her. I'm not sure what speeds I'm shifting for each gear as I'm only glancing at the tach. Well, except at the end of the back straight I'll hit close to 120mph if I really push it. I usually shift at 6k unless I'm chasing down one of my buddies and the red mist glazes over my eyes:). Then I sometimes will hit the rev limiter coming through turn 6 in 3rd gear. I've tried 2nd gear around turn 9 but run out of revs mid turn so I use 3rd and just use the torque of the engine to get me around. Again, no need to be at red line all the time if I'm not racing. Our track is very technical as you know so that helps keep things interesting and busy. The nice thing is I'm still learning. Now, if I could only catch that guy in the red Corvette

Just about to embark on a 3.6 swap, and will use this for reference. Thanks for documenting!

Well, it's been 15 years since I bought my car and 6 years since the 3.6 conversion.
Still puts a smile on my face every time I drive it.
My buddies and I had a great day with our wives hitting the back roads of "the Valley" yesterday.
