Non- Porsche tire question

I have a Ford Explorer Sport Trac; the OE tire size is 235/65-18. The tire I'm looking at (Firestone Destination ST) doesn't come in that size, but I can achieve the same outside diameter by using a 255/60-18. Is going from 235 to 255 too much of a jump?

Probably not the best place to post this.. That said, you should be fine with that size.. I had an Explorer Sport and there's plenty of room for them to fit.. IMO, I'd do a search on TireRack.com to see other tire options and feedback from others with similar vehicles.. That's what I did with my Harley PU.. I ended up with Yokohamas and I love them..
