Time to show off your Sepia Brown
I'll start with my 1973.5T in original Sepia Brown one of the most conservative colors offered in the early 911 (70's) line of cars and Dr. Porsche most favorite. I never get tired of it!

maybe you should have titled the thread "Show me your Sepia Brown"
Just kidding, that seems to be the catch phrase for all the big picture threads.I really like the sepia brown, it goes really well with chrome. Hoping to see some more pics as well.

Color grows on you. After awhile you get a bit tired of everyone asking what year it is? The only solution I could find was the vanity plate!

1976 911s
Here is one I've had for 5 years. Great car but was thinking of selling it in 2012 . The question I ask myself is where do I list it on Pelican, Excellence, Hemmings, EBay or local. If I think about to long, it will be Fall again and another great Summer of driving around. I think I still have a case of the Winter blues or it could be the monthly garage rent is beginning to add up.

Bitter Chocolate confused for Sepia Brown...
Ja, it IS brown, but bitter chocolate appears just a bit darker- no? This one's a FOUR! R/Dave L.

Son of the original owner
Here is Dad's/my 911. Original color, S gauges, Carrera bars. Repainted, Seriously/stock rebuilt engine, still has CIS but has been protected with an 85 front cooler. Refinished Fuchs with dunlop direzzionales.

This was my dad's 1972T, which he acquired in 1983. Paint is still original except for the right rear panel, which was re-painted (poorly) before my dad acquired it. My prom date sat in the passenger seat. Prom date is gone but I've now got the car (a double-win for me).

![]() ![]() Jk, it's a cool vintage color but easy to poke fun at. Hey, my car was originally purple so what can I say (I'm not the one who painted over it tho) |
