NY/NJ/CT/PA Spring kick off run

Man, this sucks - A bomb was just dropped on my department at work today, and it now looks like my entire weekend will not only be devoted to work stuff, but I'll need an all-nighter or two to meet the unmovable deadline.

And this after I spent some time earlier this week changing the fan belt and doing other maintenance in anticipation of this drive.....

And I live west of 287 just off rt 80, and drive from there to just off 287 near the NJ-NY border almost every day, so I KNOW a good size chunk of this route.

Oh well, hopefully there will be a next time.

(I wasted enough time. It's "only" 10:37 pm, and it's back to work. After all, I started at the late hour of 6:45 am this morning.)

Hey Connor! I've seen 996 join the fun before! C'mon up! I'm sure Dave is on board. Heck we've even had bimmers not too long ago. I say the more the merrier. I just need to add more springs at the back of my gas pedal (lol).

Here are the directions and plans one more time so that every one is on the same page, lets call these the official ones.

Here are the directions

1) Meet at Rye Playland around 815am. I will arrive around 800am ish. We will hang out there a bit, get a few photos and what not. Then we will leave Playland around 845-9ish.

2) From Playland we will take 287 to exit 52A (to stay on 287 you have to take exit 15 as it we get close to NJ ) which is Rt. 23. There is a Chili's (Chili's‎, 58 Rte 23 North Riverdale, NJ 07457) right at the exit of 287 on to 23. We will meet there to join up with any one that got separated, or any one that is coming up from jersey and wanted to go the 23 run with every one. We should get there around 945-10am-ish.

3) 10:30ish we will leave the Chili's parking lot and head north towards Port Jervis. we should be arriving some time around 11:30. We will meet at Arlene & Tom's Restaurant (265 East Main Street, Port Jervis, NY 12771-2209). We will be getting lunch here later as per suggested.

4) we will hang around there for a bit wait for people who wanted to meet around there then head out to do the RT.97 drive around 12:15-1230ish.

5) We will then come back to Arlene & Toms for a later lunch. After that if people are up for it we can do the RT 97 drive again, head home or go do any other drive people may want.

I think this plan provides enough stoping points that we can meet up with every one along the way some where. Feel free to come for part of the drive, or all of it. Take lots of pictures, any one taking video I would like to coordinate a way to get it so I can edit what every one takes, together.

This was the line-up this morning at Rye Playland before it even started. Had to pull out after that because of other commitments but hope that everyone has a great day!

I would like to thank every one that came out it was a great day and a ton of fun as always. We had close to 40 cars through out the day and a good time was had by all. We will be definitely be doing this again soon maybe a mid summer run. If any one has pictures or videos please PM me so we can figure out a way to get them in one location, im going to make a nice montage video again.
