Not actually doing it, just saying it would be a dream vacation.

This is the only way one can truely say it's a "rust free" car. Dipping in a non acid base chemicals is by far the only way to go on any full restoration. I go to sleep happy knowing I am giving back my client a true rust free 911.

The final rinse is done with phosphate which leaves behind the brown color.

That must be a really nice feeling to know that parts you'll never see again are sleeping quietly rather than a potential storm raging just below the surface.

Freddie, I can only imagine how busy you must be, and keeping this thread alive has got to take some effort...but all the same, I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work on a (fairly) regular basis

Freddie - first off - your work is amazing. I love the Slate Gray - OK - every car in this thread. Can you share on the process of stripping paint? This last car looks like it was dipped - I know in earlier posts you had sanded down bodies. Everyone learns better ways to get the work done - and the process improves - just wondering how you deal with heater tubes etc. Awesome work.

beautiful, as usual. But also a question...
I noticed when I stripped my car that it appeared to have a lighter/brighter yellow under the Talbot Yellow top coat. Wondering what colors you use a base coat for and do you always use white?
