You know you have a nice car when...

…it gets vandalized!
I went out to the Okanagan on Saturday to overnight with my buddy on his new-to-him sail boat. I parked my car on Beach ave in Peachland, walked across the sidewalk, down the dock and onto his boat and away we went. Upon my return the next afternoon, I noticed something not right with my whale tail; it drooped somewhat. As I looked closer I found foot prints on it and all over the car! The asshat started by climbing onto the back bumperette, then onto the Carrera tail where he tromped around before heading up onto the roof and sunroof, then down onto the right front fender; all for probably 30 seconds of thrills and 3-4 minutes of laughs with his pals no doubt. Now I get to work this out with the insurance and body shop.
Anyone have a very good Carrera deck and tail in Venetian Blue by chance?

Lame man... Sorry. I come back to trash and loogies in my junk, but never any body damage.

Those guys are pricks and may their wives be cheating whores.

I feel your pain. It's sad to see this type of stupidity. At least the car was still there...

It should be legal to shoot someone doing that to anyone's car.

Sorry to hear about your car. That is some bad damage to the spoiler, but look on the bright side, it could always be much worse.

I knew I was taking my chances leaving it overnight on the street, but again I thought it'd be OK in a little town like Peachland. And then to add to the misery, my wife told me so!! Yep, she said if I leave it on the street overnight it will get vandalized...now I have to live with "I told you so".

Yes I am looking on the bright side: I made the trip there and back without an accident and I am well as is my health. That compilation of rubber, glass and steel can be fixed. I just had to unload with those who share the passion.

Yup, I had mine keyed last year. Really pissed me off. And then in the body shop for a month. Grrr...

I've also parked on the street at the girlfriend's condo in the past. Again in a small town with low crime. Went out in the morning to find cheese and parts of a sandwich on the windshield and elsewhere.

People are just jealous, but it doesn't make me feel any better.

I hope ICBC doesn't yank you around much.

Sorry you had that happen. The good news is that it can be fixed and that's what insurance is for. Still makes you mad that people act that way. Makes you wish you could catch them in the act and dispense some justice though.

Sad thing is that this kind of crap is what leads to worse stuff. Justice would be having to be seen driving a piece of junk Honda Civic with a mismatched hood, peeling paint and a ricey exhaust. Oh wait, he probably does!
