Transport
I've used both of these:
Intercity- excellent, the gold standard in shipping Demoise Trucking- smaller than Intercity, but every bit as good, a bit cheaper than Intercity. I've used them multiple times for my cars (Long hood 911, 930, Shelby GT500). Fully enclosed just like Intercity, awesome drivers just like Intercity. Both of these are private companies and are NOT brokers! FWIW, I recently paid $1200 to ship my GT500 from San Diego CA to Houston TX with Demoise. Good luck- WK Carson |

DeMoise WAS great....No longer in business. Bill closed the "doors" about 6 months ago. A few of Bill's drivers went over to Intercity.
We used DeMoise many times with exceptional service.

I used to own one of these outfits.. if it were me Id insist on a driver call with the drivers phone # available to you. Brokers: hahahahahaa no comment... sometimes they are unavoidable... but beware... You can run into delays with anybody.. you got weather, mechanical, and human influences. Your expectations should allow some room for those things or you will potentially be disappointed in the outcome.
What a horrible business to be in.. dealing with low balling schmucks all day long.

I got majorly shafted by a shipping co. Door To Door Auto Transport Inc. I paid to ship a car from Fl to CA. Found them on the internet got a quote and paid ahead. They subed out the actual shipping and the car made it here fine but they never paid the shipping company and I ended up paying double to have to car released when it got to me. DTD wouldn't return calls. Just a hellish experience. Never pay ahead of delivery and get references. Contact car delears that use auto shipping companies. Good luck.

I just relocated from IL to NJ. I used Nationwide Auto Transport, Inc. (G-Hub Transport Co.) and paid $500.00 for an open carriage. The car was picked up in IL Friday night and was delivered in NJ, 7:30 am today, Tuesday, Oct 2. The car was in the same condition as I left it. Odometer read 81,223 (013.3) and arrived at 81,223 (013.8). The only problem was I now live uphill and the truck was restricted to deliver it door to door, so I met the truck driver at the Lowe's parking lot around 3 miles down the road. Just had it washed as it was dirty and now its safely stored at its new home. The shipper was regularly updating me since the truck left IL yesterday morning. For a close type carriage, they would charge 1k from IL to NJ. I guess it was worth it. Lastly, payment is upon delivery and not advanced.
